Mike Harkins is Writesite
By the time Mike Harkins registered the Writesite domain in 1998 and opened his creative services business, he'd already had 15 years of diverse work and projects in concert production for Journey, Prince, Bruce Springsteen and many other artists; managed an interactive solutions division for a graphics company; had several freelance magazine articles published; been a muralist, illustrator, actor, writer, and musician; and before all that had served over three years in the Army's elite 82nd Airborne Division.
As he approaches 50 years of providing creative solutions for clients in every industry his focus is writing, editing, and book design, with occasional limited consulting engagements including personal communications consulting for C-level executives.. And he teaches a writing class every now and then.
His latest book is The Way to Begin, which provides a method for beginning writers who may still struggle to start their projects. His 2015 nonfiction book, Move to Fire, which received a starred review from Publishers Weekly, is optioned and in development as a feature film.
